Lession Outline

Training Focus
Occupational Safety & Health Regulation governing manual handling operations has become effective on 1 July 1998. A responsible person is required to appoint competent persons to assist in the implementation of preventive and protective measures if 10 or more employees are normally employed to carry out hazardous manual handling operations on the premises. The objectives of the course are to train participants to conduct manual handling assessments to enable employers to fulfill their legal duties

Award
Training certificate will be issued to students who have 100% attendance. Participant who has attended assessment course should pass the written examination.

Medium of Instruction
Cantonese is the primary medium of instruction and English terms are used where applicable. Teaching materials and examination paper will be in Chinese.
